Thera (“we,” “us”) operates this website and app experience to provide AI-assisted mental wellness and special education support. This policy describes how we handle personal information when you use our services.
What we collect
- Account data: such as name, email address, and authentication identifiers when you register or sign in (including via Google or email link).
- Profile and preferences: role, account type, theme, and settings you save in the product.
- Usage and content: messages you send in chat, booking details, and session-related information you choose to provide.
- Technical data: standard server and security logs that hosting providers (such as Vercel) may collect, including IP address and browser type, as needed to operate the service securely.
Firebase & infrastructure
We use Google Firebase (Authentication, Firestore, and related services) to store account data and application content. Data is processed according to Google’s terms and the Firebase configuration for our project. Do not use the service for highly sensitive secrets; protect your password and devices as you would for any online account.
AI features
When you use AI chat or related features, your messages may be sent to our backend or cloud functions to generate responses. We do not use your conversations to train public models unless we explicitly notify you and obtain consent where required. AI output is automated and may be inaccurate—independent professional judgment remains essential for health and education decisions.
Payments
Payments may be completed via third-party flows (for example InstaPay links shown to you). We do not store full card data on our servers for those flows; payment providers handle card processing under their own policies.
Cookies & local storage
We use browser storage (including local storage and cookies placed by Firebase or our host) to keep you signed in and remember preferences. You can clear site data in your browser, but you may need to sign in again.
Your choices
- Access or update profile information in the app where available.
- Request account deletion through in-app options where provided; residual backups may persist for a limited time.

Children
Our services are not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction) without appropriate parental involvement. Parents or guardians should supervise minors’ use and accounts.
